Ronald McDonald House Charities® has been McDonald’s “charity of choice” for over 35 years. We are a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Each chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities is autonomous, with its own Board of Trustees, responsible for the governance of the organization. However, a portion of the annual operating costs for the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton is graciously funded by McDonald’s and Owner / Operators of the local McDonald’s restaurants. The remainder of our annual operating income comes from the generosity of individual and corporate donors, and area community foundations.
How does our McDonald’s Miami Valley Co-Op support RMHC Dayton?
Our local McDonald’s owner / operators and managers are generous supporters of our signature fundraising events; Doors of Compassion, the RMHC Golf Classic, and Radiothon. Local stores also have several in-store donation promotions each year.
McDonald’s customers show their support by donating change in area restaurant donation boxes. These donations directly support RMHC Dayton and our guest families.
McDonald’s suppliers, such as Coca-Cola and Martin Brower, are also generous donors to RMHC Dayton.
