Our Gift Acceptance Policy
Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton solicits and accepts gifts that are consistent with its mission, vision, and values. Donations, monetary or in-kind, will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, without limitations. However, certain gifts or donated properties may be subject to review prior to acceptance.
All decisions to accept gifts that may not align with the RMHC mission, vision, and values will be made by the Chief Executive Officer and Development Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton, with possible consultation with the Executive Committee of the Board. The primary consideration will be the impact of the gift on the organization and whether the values of the donor and the gift align with the values of Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton.
After a gift has been donated and accepted by Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton, we maintain the right to discontinue a partnership with a donor if we feel that their actions, values, or policies no longer align with our mission, vision, or values. Further, as the gift would have been donated and used in support of our mission, and it is not within our means to refund gifts. Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton reserves the right to keep any monetary or in-kind gift that was donated.
