A fresh meal means one less worry
We can not thank you enough for your kindness and generosity and it helped us so much to have a hot meal at the end of each stressful, scary day. Ginger is getting released today and going home for the first time. We are grateful beyond words.” (The Hammel Family)
These words ring true for most of our guests. In times of medical crisis, it is traditional for families and friends to prepare meals for loved ones. At RMHC Dayton, our guests are families experiencing the incredible stress of having a seriously ill or injured child – but without the comfort of their own homes. Through our Hot Meal program we invite individuals, families, and groups to share the gift of comfort by donating, preparing, and cooking a meal for our guest families in our House and Family Room.
Meals can be scheduled on a monthly, quarterly, or one-time basis. For more information on this program, please review our Hot Meal Guidelines. For more information, contact Community Engagement Coordinator Will Crabtree at [email protected] or 937-224-0047 x. 14.
