Rest and regroup right at the hospital
The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms® (RMFR) are special places that offer families of sick or injured children a chance to take care of everyday needs. Whether it’s doing the laundry or just getting a much-needed cup of coffee, families will have the peace of mind that their child is just a few steps away. Guests can also grab a snack or light meal in our fully equipped kitchen, take a refreshing shower, or relax and watch television on our comfortable furniture courtesy of La-Z-Boy.
Dayton Children’s Hospital
The RMFR Dayton Children’s Hospital is open 7am to 11pm every day, and is located on the Second Floor of Dayton Children’s Hospital near the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Families are referred to the Ronald McDonald Family Room from their hospital unit.
Miami Valley Hospital
The RMFR inside Emmett’s Place at Miami Valley Hospital is located at Miami Valley Hospital near the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, on the First Floor inside Emmett’s Place, and is open from 10 AM to 10 PM hours a day, 7 days a week. This project was supported through generous gifts from the Sorensen Family and from McAfee Heating and Air.
