Pull Together for RMHC
Saturday, May 19, 2018
8 AM – 1 PM
2nd Street Market – 600 E. 2nd St., Dayton, OH
Bring your tab collection to the 12th annual Tab-A-PULL-ooza pull tab contest! This family-friendly event is a great way to show children the benefits of both recycling and giving back to the community. Donations will be weighed and then poured into a large commercial dumpster provided by First Street Recycling; allowing attendees to see firsthand the remarkable things that can happen when a community “pulls” together.
- Special guest Ronald McDonald will also be making an appearance
- Prizes are awarded to the top collectors in three categories: individual, group and school
- All participants will be entered into hourly drawings
Pull tabs are taken to First Street Recycling to be recycled for their salvage value. The revenue generated from these pull tabs, along with pull tabs collected at the House throughout the year, generate approximately $16,000 for the local Ronald McDonald House Charities chapter annually. These funds help RMHC continue to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of critically ill or injured hospitalized children.
